SPRINGER MOUNTAIN, GEORGIA: A 2K-mile hike Khris started 21 Mar 2013. A promise that made it onto his bucket list but a few years ago, finishing the Appalachian Trail is something he wants to dedicate to the U.S. Armed Forces Heroes. He wants to give back to the USO & the American Red Cross because of the services provided for him during his 26 yrs in the USAF.

Almost out of
the Smokeys...one more day. Pinoy Airman took it easy today; no need to
rush--there is another day. Some of the hikers tried to get out of the
GSMNP because of the 8-day requirement.
